The Gift and Estate Design Services at the Cru Foundation resembles a “ministry-like” service.

“As a practicing estate planning attorney in Florida for over 20+ years, I enthusiastically encourage all Cru donors (both existing and future) to learn more about the Gift and Estate Design Services provided by Cru Foundation’s team. Cru Foundation’s talented planning professionals perform these services to Cru donors at no cost, which is unique in the charitable planning sector.

However, more importantly, the Gift and Estate Design Services facilitates a more intentional and interactive team approach to one’s estate planning alongside his or her attorney and other professional advisors. This process ultimately results in better estate planning documents that more accurately reflect one’s wishes, and often in a more tax-efficient manner.

I have also found that the Gift and Estate Design Services can significantly reduce overall out-of-pocket costs for attorney fees because in some ways it makes the drafting attorney’s job easier.

Finally, when utilizing the Gift and Estate Design Services, there is never any expectation for Cru to be included as a beneficiary in your estate plan.  I suppose that part of the reason I am such an advocate for the Gift and Estate Design Services at the Cru Foundation as it more resembles a “ministry-like” service graciously extended to Cru’s valued supporters instead of overt fundraising activities that too frequently are rendered in a “silo-like” manner that often thwarts a donor’s overall estate plan.”
